Purpose | An applicant cancels an application in order to end the processing of the on the TRMS PORTAL. |
Use-Case Scenarios |
In the case of Form A, an applicant can request for cancellation if the invisible trade is no longer required.

Process | Applicant logs into TRMS, pulls up the form and clicks on the Action button selects CANCEL from the dropdown(see FIgure below).
Applicant inputs reason for cancellation, attaches necessary documents and clicks on SUBMIT.(See Figure below)

Notes |
The cancellation request is subject to approval by the processing bank when the application is cancelled before it’s initial approval by the bank (before it gets a form number).
The cancellation request is subject to approval by the CBN TED when it is cancelled after the initial ADB approval (after a form number has been issued).
The applicant must attach a letter requesting for cancellation as well as other supporting documents.
